Sharon Jackson is the founder of The Rose of Sharon 7, inc. Sharon’s credentials includes an A.S., A.A., B.S. Degrees, and a M.S. Degree in Marriage Family Therapy and a Masters’ in Counseling. She has dedicated her life to the profession of breaking the cycle of the recidivism/revolving door syndrome of being imprisoned and in a drug/alcohol treatment facility. Sharon created a program to serve the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, to provide a strong foundation for their recovery. Thus The Divine Intervention Recovery Ranch was born.
Rose Wheeler is also a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC). She has years of experience as board member on several boards, including the CCAPP (California Consortium of Programs and Professionals). Rose has been on the CCAPP Board for over 5 years, advocating for treatment facilities and counselors. Rose has been working in Substance Abuse Treatment Centers since 2009 and has extensive experience in both counseling and management.
Halima Jones serves as the Treasurer for The Rose of Sharon 7 since January 2018. Since joining The Rose of Sharon 7, Halima has focused on improving revenue development by securing adequate resources for the organization in order to fulfill its mission. She was first introduced to the nonprofit in as a volunteer. Halima is native to Southern California and is an active member of her community. Halima is passionate and engaged with giving back to the community. She hopes to empower and encourage women suffering from substance abuse in hopes to further their health and quality of life.
He has been a Rose of Sharon7 Board member for several years with 18 years of sobriety. He has been on Arrid Club board for 18 years; assisted with rebuilding the meeting rooms. He has been in construction for 45+ years. He has done work for a several sober/recovery homes: Lavista, Our House, First Step House, and assists the Rose Of Sharon7 with various projects..
John Wheeler has been on local boards for Alcoholics Anonymous and has assisted with making important contributions to treatment centers. He has a passion for helping people change their lives and has been working with addiction professionals for many years. John is excited to be a part of this project.
Terri earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Cal Baptist University, in Riverside County. She worked for the County of Riverside as a supervisor of education in the Riverside Health Department for 10 years. I encountered men and women in their active addiction and have seen firsthand how drugs affect their lives. After my retirement, I began to focus full time on my ministry.
I have been in ministry for 35 years, serving South Central Los Angeles, east Los Angeles, and Riverside Counties. I serve the Lord as a chaplain for Riverside Robert Presley detention center and founder of Agape prison ministry, which I go into the prisons and jails. Through my ministries, I continue to encounter addictive individuals, many who want to change their lives. My desire is to instill the word of God to individuals seeking God and desire to change their addictive lifestyle, to live without drugs and alcohol. It is a blessing to serve on the board of The Rose of Sharon 7 to assist in all ways that I can.
In HIS service
Lisa Molina is native to Southern California. In 1987, she relocated from Orange County to the Inland Empire. Lisa has firsthand experience with the recovery process; in 1990 she became pregnant while addicted to heroin. Lisa successfully completed treatment. Her daughter was born healthy and has become a very bright and talented young woman, wife, mother of four and the CEO of Solid Ground Wellness in Recovery. Lisa and her family’s life was and continues to be positively affected by what, at the time, was viewed as a very unfortunate situation.
Lisa later studied at UCR Extension where she obtained the necessary education to become a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor II; in addition, she has been certified as a Relapse Prevention Specialist since 2003. For nearly 33 years, Lisa has been instrumental in helping countless individuals change their lives.
Cecilia Burch is a Nonprofit Consultant, Master Gardener and a Writer, with more than 25 years’ experience managing nonprofit organizations. She freelances as an organizational resource by helping organizations start up nonprofits, writing grants, proposals and business
plans and providing clear and compelling proofreading and copy editing. As a Master Gardener, she is also a resource for gardening information, care and design. She is on the Advisory Council for GSFE (Global Society for Female Executives) and volunteers for several different organizations. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and a Master of Public Health degree. Cecilia is a third-generation native Californian and currently makes her home in Lake Elsinore near water and the mountains with her son, daughter-in-law, three young men who call her Grandma, a lovely garden, and assorted cats.
